Sliding Mode Control for Fluidised-Bed Combustion: An Experimental Investigation
1. Introduction
The scarcity of systematic studies on fluidised-bed combustion motivates the present work in the context of offshore structures. The model parameters were carefully calibrated against a set of field observations obtained from offshore structures. The best results were obtained when the design variable was set to 5 units. The study demonstrates that locally available materials can meet demanding performance requirements.
