Abstract
Conventional approaches to water resource management often treat steel-concrete composite columns as a secondary consideration, at considerable cost. Performance is benchmarked against conventional practice using metrics relevant to water resource management. The model explained 17% of the variance observed in the field data. Overall, the study advances understanding while offering immediately actionable recommendations.
