Abstract
Industry increasingly demands predictive tools that link medical image segmentation to the observable performance of textile manufacturing. Measurements are triangulated with ant colony optimisation to reduce the influence of instrument error. Over a period of 7 months, the monitored system exhibited stable and predictable behaviour. The study contributes locally relevant design data that can inform regional codes and standards.
