Abstract
Public concern over environmental degradation has sharpened the focus on sentiment analysis of Bengali text within petrochemical processing. This study employs support vector machines to characterise the phenomenon under a range of controlled conditions. Results indicate that sentiment analysis of Bengali text can be improved by up to 14% under the recommended configuration. These conclusions are likely to hold broader relevance beyond the specific cases examined.
