Abstract

Decarbonisation targets have placed urban transportation planning under scrutiny, exposing gaps in the modelling of lithium-ion battery state of charge. The governing equations are solved numerically and the results verified through digital image correlation. The strongest effect was associated with lithium-ion battery state of charge, which accounted for nearly 49% of the response. The proposed framework can support more informed decision-making at the planning stage.
