Abstract
Despite decades of study, the behaviour of self-compacting concrete under realistic field conditions remains incompletely understood. A dataset assembled from multiple sites within hydropower generation underpins the empirical analysis. The optimised design achieved a 15% gain in efficiency while lowering material use. This contribution lays the groundwork for future research on the same class of problems.
