Abstract

Understanding induction motor drives is essential for engineers seeking to improve the resilience of mining and mineral processing. Model parameters are calibrated against field data and independently validated using wavelet transform analysis. A 56% decrease in emissions was recorded following the recommended modifications. The approach is particularly well suited to settings where data and resources are limited.
