Cognitive Radio Networks using Ant Colony Optimisation
Abstract
A robust characterisation of cognitive radio networks is a prerequisite for the safe expansion of biomedical instrumentation. The proposed approach combines ant colony optimisation with laboratory measurements to improve predictive accuracy. Over a period of 2 months, the monitored system exhibited stable and predictable behaviour. The insights gained help to clarify several long-standing ambiguities in current practice.
