Abstract

Recent failures in textile manufacturing have highlighted the need for a more rigorous treatment of gas turbine blade cooling. The analysis relies on Taguchi design of experiments, supplemented by dedicated sensitivity studies to assess robustness. The retrofit reduced peak demand by 63% while maintaining acceptable service quality. The results support wider adoption of the proposed approach in routine design practice.
