Membrane Separation Processes
A Regional Perspective
Abstract
Practitioners have long relied on empirical rules to design industrial automation, yet these often neglect the complexity of membrane separation processes. To quantify uncertainty, the procedure embeds transfer learning within a Monte Carlo sampling scheme. Accounting explicitly for membrane separation processes improved overall performance by roughly 33%. The work points to several promising directions for improving current engineering practice.
