Abstract
Accurate prediction of induction motor drives can substantially reduce the lifecycle cost of disaster risk reduction. Numerical simulations are complemented by Taguchi design of experiments to cross-check the predicted trends. The proposed model outperformed 9 competing approaches on every evaluation metric. The study contributes locally relevant design data that can inform regional codes and standards.
