Abstract
Growing populations and rapid industrialisation place unprecedented demands on municipal waste systems across South Asia. To quantify uncertainty, the procedure embeds principal component analysis within a Monte Carlo sampling scheme. Over a period of 5 months, the monitored system exhibited stable and predictable behaviour. The framework is sufficiently general to be transferred to related engineering problems.
