Abstract
Persistent knowledge gaps concerning masonry infill walls continue to constrain the safe and economical design of renewable energy communities. Laboratory specimens were prepared and tested under controlled conditions representative of renewable energy communities. Only 8 of the candidate configurations satisfied every performance requirement. The demonstrated reliability makes the method a credible candidate for standard practice.
