Abstract
The interplay between additive manufacturing of titanium alloys and long-term reliability in tidal river basins has received comparatively little systematic attention. Full-scale trials were conducted in tidal river basins to assess the practicality of the approach. Sensitivity analysis showed that additive manufacturing of titanium alloys accounted for most of the output variability. Future efforts should focus on scaling the approach and confirming its durability in service.
