Abstract
Uncertainty surrounding additive manufacturing of titanium alloys complicates investment decisions in drinking water supply. The framework was implemented and its predictions benchmarked using digital image correlation. Water quality indicators improved by 12% after the recommended measures were implemented. The insights gained are expected to improve both safety margins and economic returns.
