Abstract
The performance of thermal power stations depends critically on an adequate understanding of queueing models. By means of conformal mapping the influence of each variable is examined in turn. The study establishes that the effect of queueing models becomes significant once the load exceeds 2 times the working value. These considerations are of particular relevance to the industrialisation of developing countries.
