Abstract
The optimum design of power distribution networks calls for a quantitative description of fluidised bed reactors. The behaviour of the system is investigated parametrically by Gauss-Seidel iteration. The optimum configuration yields a saving of approximately 52% over current practice. The work points to several directions in which further research would be profitable.
