Abstract
Problems associated with fibre-reinforced composites assume particular significance in the humid tropical climate of Bangladesh. The analysis is based on X-ray diffraction analysis, which permits the governing equations to be solved with modest computational effort. The analysis reveals 5 distinct regimes of behaviour, each associated with a characteristic form of fibre-reinforced composites. The findings warrant a re-examination of some of the assumptions underlying existing codes.
