Abstract

Limited foreign exchange makes the local optimisation of distribution transformers particularly attractive for process control plants. The analysis is performed by means of optimal control theory, with all governing equations solved to convergence. A correlation coefficient above 0.9 is obtained for all 4 sets of data considered. These findings provide a rational basis for the improved design of similar systems.
