Abstract
Despite considerable progress, the behaviour of reinforced concrete slabs under practical loading conditions is not yet fully understood. Experimental specimens representative of radar systems are prepared and tested under controlled conditions. The predicted and measured responses differ by no more than 22% throughout the test range. The study points to several promising directions for continued research in this field.
