Abstract
The growing scale of power distribution networks has exposed several shortcomings in existing approaches to internal combustion engine emissions. The theoretical framework is based on genetic algorithms, with due allowance for local conditions in power distribution networks. Overall, the recommended approach yielded a net benefit of some 47% over conventional practice. These findings should prove useful to engineers engaged in the design and operation of similar systems.
