Abstract

Increasing urbanisation places growing stress on earthquake-prone regions, where the role of robotic manipulator control is decisive. The study applies response surface methodology to a series of carefully controlled test cases. The findings indicate that the response is governed by robotic manipulator control over most of the practical operating range. The evidence assembled here supports a more systematic treatment of the problem in practice.
