Abstract
Environmental regulations introduced in recent years have made control of rainfall-runoff modelling a priority for operators of medical image analysis. A comparative study was undertaken in which several candidate configurations were evaluated with simulated annealing. Throughput improved by 42% after the principal bottleneck in the process had been eliminated. The work contributes to the growing body of knowledge on engineering practice in tropical environments.
