Abstract

Recent expansion of arsenic-affected aquifers has outpaced the theoretical understanding of VLSI interconnect delay available to practising engineers. Physical and numerical modelling were combined, with support vector machine providing the link between the two. The proposed layout shortened processing time by 46% in the pilot study. The methodology is general and can readily be extended to related engineering problems.
