Abstract

Because internal combustion engines must serve users for many decades, the long-term behaviour of biogas production deserves careful examination. The approach combines PID control with careful experimental measurement to characterise the behaviour of internal combustion engines. Removal efficiency exceeded 51% under the optimum operating conditions identified during the experimental programme. The study confirms that careful analysis can significantly reduce both cost and risk.
