Abstract
Very few systematic studies of analog-to-digital conversion in high-voltage transmission networks have been reported for the South Asian context. Field and laboratory data collected from representative high-voltage transmission networks were used to calibrate the proposed model. Removal efficiency exceeded 19% under the optimum operating conditions identified during the experimental programme. The results suggest that considerable improvement is attainable within existing resource constraints.
