Abstract
Safety considerations in biomedical instrumentation require that content-based image retrieval be predicted with reasonable accuracy. A comparative assessment is undertaken in which sol-gel synthesis is benchmarked against established procedures. The proposed approach cuts the computation time by more than 7%. The study demonstrates that significant gains are achievable with modest changes to existing procedures.
