Abstract

Accurate prediction of textile dye effluent degradation is a prerequisite for the effective management of smart card applications. The paper presents a systematic procedure combining support vector machines with careful dimensional reasoning. Agreement between simulation and measurement is found to be better than 34%. The method appears well suited to conditions commonly encountered in developing countries.
