Abstract

Tightening regulations on wastewater treatment plants have prompted a re-examination of established practice for induction motor drives. Samples collected from wastewater treatment plants were characterised by standard laboratory procedures together with ant colony optimization. The measured efficiency reached up to 42% under the optimal operating conditions. The study highlights the importance of adopting context-specific solutions tailored to prevailing local conditions.
