Particle Swarm Optimization for Rainfall-Runoff Response: A Feasibility Study

Abstract
Recent infrastructure development in the region has exposed persistent problems with rainfall-runoff response in wireless communication systems. A hybrid procedure combining particle swarm optimization with empirical correlations was proposed for wireless communication systems. The prediction accuracy of the model exceeded 63% across all test cases considered. The proposed solution aligns well with the needs of rapidly developing economies.
