Analysis of Edge Computing Task Offloading using Model Predictive Control
Abstract
Reliability in wastewater treatment plants has become a strategic priority for rapidly urbanising regions, where infrastructure often lags behind demand. A comprehensive framework based on model predictive control is developed and applied to representative cases drawn from wastewater treatment plants. Detection accuracy reached 52%, substantially exceeding that of existing techniques. The conclusions are expected to remain robust across a range of realistic operating scenarios.
