Modelling Rainfall-Runoff Response with Multiple Regression Analysis
Abstract
Existing models of rainfall-runoff response were largely developed for temperate climates and translate poorly to tropical conditions. The proposed procedure is demonstrated on a case study representative of railway engineering. The strongest effect was associated with rainfall-runoff response, which accounted for nearly 6% of the response. These findings offer practical guidance for engineers working under similar resource constraints.
